Tokyo Underground Killer launches for PC in September

Publisher Phoenix Game Productions and co-developers 3DM Games and Gone Shootin announced a release date for Tokyo Underground Killer, their first-person melee combat adventure game.

Tokyo Underground Killer�is set to launch for Windows PC (via Steam) on September 5th. Console ports are planned for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 but werent dated today.

Creating this game was our dream and passion for many years, Phoenix Game Productions studio head and game director Daniel Hedjazi (aka Bentoman) said in a press release. We cant wait for players to finally experience our violent, fever-dreamish vision of Tokyo.

He added, Between maniac Yakuza bosses, revenge-driven Idols, and enticing cult leaders, Kobayashis trip through Tokyo’s underworld is not only a relentless fight for survival, but also a journey of self-discovery, filled with dark humor and unexpected twists. Paired with an unforgettable soundtrack created by legendary musician Andrew Hulshult and a story told through almost 100 pages of unique comic book panels drawn by comic artist Hans Steinbach, we believe that Tokyo Underground Killer will deliver a gaming experience unlike anything else.�

Dive into the neon-drenched deep underground of Tokyo as Kobayashi, a deadly assassin who harnesses the power of blood energy. Use your sword, mystical abilities and powerful weapons to assassinate highly dangerous maniacs and stop the invasion of the brutal Flatliners terrorizing Tokyo.
